Kees, Darlene and their family joined us at Knox-Elora from Windsor and quickly endeared themselves to the congregation. Kees is a vibrant, energetic minister who loves life and people. Our congregation has grown significantly under his leadership. Most of the growth is due to his warm personality, his genuine concern for people, his compassion, and his supportive nature.

Darlene is no less energetic. Under her leadership a vibrant children's choir graces many of our services. She has also established a "Cantata Choir" from Knox Elora and St. Andrew's Alma.  Their performances are a highlight of our church year and we all look forward to these outstanding performances.

They arrived at the manse complete with two sons, Colin and Adam, and daughter Amy. Since that time all three have married and established families of their own.
